1905 City Hall

300 South Second Street

With an amazing restoration to its facade, the century old City Hall has an even brighter new future planned for this Bay Saint Louis building icon.  Lost to the building following Hurricane Camille in 1969, the cupola has been replicated and replaced, and its interior has been completely restored to meet the needs of current citizens.  Restoration of the building was in accordance with the Secretary of the Interior Standards and Mississippi’s Department of Archives and History.

Located on the first floor of Historic City Hall you can find the Cypress Cafe. Serving meals, coffee and other drinks, ice cream and desserts, and offering a wide variety of gifts, Cypress Cafe has become a favorite spot for locals and tourists alike. Upstairs is the offices of CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates, of Hancock County. This beautiful building may be over 100 years old, but she is still serving Bay St. Louis proudly.
